It all started when…

Noah was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to Los Angeles, California when she was about four months old. Noah attended Culver City Christian School, Mar Vista Elementary School, Daniel Webster Middle School, Culver City Middle School, and Culver City High School before moving to Oregon to get her degree at the University of Oregon. Noah was a varsity athlete in Swimming and Cross-Country throughout her high school career. She was also the Commissioner of Athletics her senior year of high school. She also worked as a swim coach for young children. Noah received the Goldrich & Kest Management Scholarship her senior year of high school. Throughout her summers prior, Noah was a Junior Lifeguard at Venice Beach and participated in competitions along with her fellow teammates. For her high school graduation trip, she went on a school trip to Ecuador to learn more about the culture. Noah received a job working at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) the summer before she headed off to Oregon to begin her freshman year of college. The journey was just getting started…

Her time as a Duck…

Noah originally planned on majoring in Business until she realized she was more of a creative student and went the route of Advertising. During her sophomore year, Noah joined the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) where she found fellow classmates that shared the same opinions and creativity as her. She became the director her junior year. She had the opportunity to represent the University of Oregon last summer in Miami, Florida at the NABJ Conference. Noah was involved in Building Business Leaders where she mentored students of color. She was also part of Combined Culture, a group which creates online content that has been displayed on major platforms such as Worldstar and Adidas. Noah chose to stay in Eugene, Oregon to take summer classes to get ahead of the game. During Noah’s junior year, she received a scholarship from the School of Journalism and Communications to travel to New York City to network with different ad agencies and representatives. As a copywriter, Noah was accepted into Allen Hall Advertising. She also took American Sign Language for two years where she is hoping to become fluent. Noah received a job offer as a Social Media Coordinator for the official Instagram account of the University of Oregon. Noah completed her undergraduate credits two terms early and was able to leave Eugene her winter term of her senior year. She is extremely proud of the work she has done and is happy to forever be a Duck. In April, Noah became a Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP) 2020 Finalist where she was planning on moving to New York City to work with Hudson Rouge as a copywriter. With the effects of COVID-19, she will not be able to move to New York but will still have the opportunity to experience the internship remotely.
